New Fuel Additives Endorsement

Cummins discontinued its line of fuel additive products in August of 2017. For customers who experience fuel quality issues, Cummins now endorses two specific products within the Power Service® brand of fuel additives. These additives are designed to help your customers restore injector performance and keep fuel systems operating at peak efficiency whether they are running routes in conditions that are above or below freezing.

Warranty Procedure Modified for Cummins Aftermarket Variable Geometry (VG) Turbochargers and Electronic Turbo Actuators

A close examination of Cummins aftermarket turbochargers submitted for warranty claims has revealed that many of the complaints are not actually related to flaws in material or workmanship. Nearly half of these replacements have been transacted as an over-the-counter parts exchange. As a result, Cummins is now requiring on-engine diagnosis by a Cummins authorized or certified repair location, for warranty consideration of VG turbos and electronic turbo actuators.
