Cummins X15.™ Two Engines. One Goal

It is no secret that meeting customer objectives is critical to creating owner loyalty. That’s why in 2017, Cummins is offering two optimized power solutions of the X15 platform, resulting in no compromises for your customers. The X15 Efficiency Series engine has been engineered to deliver superior fuel economy and a low total cost of ownership. A range from 400 hp to 500 hp, together with a torque range from 1450 to 1850 lb-ft, gives you the flexibility to match the power requirements driven by gross combined vehicle weight (GCVW), terrain and driving preferences. The X15 Performance Series delivers exceptional acceleration and pulling power for the most demanding applications and routes. It can be spec’d from 485 hp to 605 hp, with up to 2050 lb-ft of peak torque. These two platforms may be different, but they have the same goal – keeping your customers’ trucks on the road longer, and getting the job done.

Cummins offers both Front Engine Power Take-Off (FEPTO) and Rear Engine Power Take-Off (REPTO) for optimized productivity on both the L9™ and ISX12. REPTO configurations eliminate the need for a front-mounted or transmission-mounted power takeoff, simplifying design requirements and modifications needed for the charge-air cooler and radiator.
